Slingshott began releasing music in 2016 in the Quad Cities. What started with writing and performing grew into a full independent practice: producing, recording, mixing, mastering, promotion, and release strategy.
That range is part of the identity. The music moves between rap, melody, personal reflection, and the occasional geek-culture angle without being forced into one box.
Slingshott also founded 2 High Entertainment, an entertainment company and flexible label-services platform built to help artists without tying them to traditional contracts.
